Spring, Texas – August 15th, 2015: On Friday August 14th around 2:30am two Spring area residents were robbed and assaulted by the same group of suspects.
The first incident took place in The Thicket Subdivision. A man was coming home and noticed a white car following him. The man passed his home and lost the car somewhere in the subdivision. The man circled around the block, pulled into his driveway and started getting his belongings out the back of his car. Suddenly he felt an object placed to the back of his head – the suspects demanded his cell phone and wallet.
The second incident took place in the Country Lake Estates Subdivision just minutes away from the first incident. A man pulled into his driveway and got out of his car. That is when three black males ran up to him started punching him in the face and attempted to steal his vehicle. The man started screaming for help which scared the suspects off. Luckily the man’s car keys were in his pocket.
Suspect Descriptions: Three black males, early to mid 20’s
Suspect Vehicle Description: Small white compact car
Be very aware of your surroundings. If you suspect someone is following you, do not drive home. Immediately call 9-1-1 and drive towards a police station.
