Spring, Texas – March 28th, 2018: A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for the following counties until 9:00 PM Wednesday. Storms are expected to increase in the afternoon with a threat for damaging wind, a couple of tornadoes and perhaps some hail. Stay tuned for future updates.

Primary threats include tornadoes, scattered large hail, isolated very large hail events up to 2 inches in diameter, isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph.
Severe thunderstorms are expected to become more common across the watch area through the remainder of the afternoon, offering damaging gusts, isolated large hail, and the potential for a couple tornadoes. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 75 statute miles north and south of a line from 65 miles north-northwest of Palacios TX to 25 miles north-northeast of Alexandria LA.
