Tomball Senior Charged With 3rd-Degree Felony After Threat For School Shooting

Tomball, Texas – February 21st, 2018: Today, at approximately 1:00 PM, Tomball High School Administration was made aware of a social media with threats of a shooting at the school.

The post was a made by a Tomball High School student with an image of a semi-automatic assault rifle and the verbiage “don’t come to school tomorrow” embedded in the post. During the investigation, a 17-year-old senior at Tomball High was brought in for questioning. The student admitted to posting the image as a “joke” towards other students.

Tomball Police Department arrested and charged 17-year-old Corbin P. with Exhibition of a Firearm, a 3rd-degree felony under Texas Education Code 37.125.
