Theft to a Vehicle in the Cypresswood Subdivision

08:15 PM

SPRING, TX –  A Cypresswood resident arrived home Saturday evening to find a small red car parked halfway in front of her driveway, she then popped the curb and parked in her driveway, not thinking the red car was doing any harm.

I looked in my rearview mirror, and the car was gone.  My friend said she saw the dash lights on, so the occupants must have ducked down.

The dogs started barking about an hour late, but I didn’t think anything of it, says the cypresswood resident.

The resident awoke Saturday morning to find that her truck had been broken into.  She reported that the passenger side lock had been popped, key marks starting at the front of the truck and continuing to the back, and her stereo navigation unit missing.

The police said the thief only needed a couple of minutes to take the radio, she says.  The officer also told me I was the 5th call reporting theft to a vehicle on Saturday morning.
