Subtropical Storm Alberto Forms In Gulf of Mexico, Not a Threat to Texas

Harris County, Texas – May 25th, 2018: The first named storm of the 2018 Hurricane Season, Subtropical Storm Alberto, has formed in the eastern Gulf Coast but is NOT a threat to Texas.

While Subtropical Storm Alberto will not impact Texas, the start of Hurricane Season is less than a week away on June 1st.

All residents should have a plan for tropical weather.
