Student Identified After Making Threats of Harm Against Klein ISD Intermediate School

Spring, Texas – October 11, 2018: According to Klein ISD, a student has been identified after making threats of harm against Krimmel Intermediate School. At the time it is unknown the exact verbiage of the threat. Klein ISD released the following statement to the parents.

Statement From Klein ISD: “Krimmel administration received a report that a student made threatening comments directed at Krimmel Intermediate. Upon receiving the report, Krimmel administration immediately began an investigation and involved the Klein ISD Police Department. The student responsible for making the threats has been identified and appropriate disciplinary action is being taken in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct. Please know that while the threat was assessed and determined to be non-credible, additional Klein ISD Police officers were placed on campus out of an abundance of caution for student and staff safety. Klein ISD does not tolerate any threats of harm against students or staff and works in coordination with the police and the district attorney’s office regarding such matters. As always, please contact us should you become aware of suspicious activity concerning Klein ISD. If you see something, say something. Don’t spread it, report it.”
