Spring, Texas – The Star Cinema Grill’s newest location in CityPlace at Springwoods Village has been an anticipated addition. The newest movie theater location was expected to open in early 2019. However, the opening date was delayed and is now expected to open in September, according to Jason Ostrow, Star Cinema Grill’s vice president of development.

The Houston-based dine-in theater already has a few other locations open in District Theatres and Vintage Park. Springwoods will be the Star Cinema Grill’s tenth location.

The newest addition in Springwoods will feature 1,400 seats with 10 available screens. The location will offer diners a full-service bar with a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits along with an extensive dining menu. Guests can enjoy all of the menu options while watching a movie.

Each screening theater will have cutting edge laser projection technology along with Dolby Atmos sound. Diners can look forward to heated and cooled luxury recliner seating and blankets.

The location will feature upscale, modern décor as well.

The new theater will be located at 1495 Lake Plaza Drive in Spring.
