The Woodlands, Texas – Research Forest is completely closed in both directions between Technology Forest and New Trails.
According to Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack, a 30-inch surface water line maintained by the San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) is busted. The water line runs directly underneath Research Forest.
At this time, it is unknown what caused the line to break but the SJRA says that it was not caused by construction or any “other” interference.
Crews are currently on the scene working to repair the water line.
SJRA says they do not anticipate residents in The Woodlands to have an interruption of service.
