Precinct 4 Deputy Pinned in Patrol Car After Being T-Boned by Suspected Drunk Driver

7:10 PM UPDATE: An investigation for impairment was completed and there were no signs of impairment by the driver that struck the deputy. Investigation continues.

Houston, Texas – December 29, 2018: A deputy with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Office was transported to the hospital after a suspected drunk driver crashed into his patrol car in North Harris County.

The scene is unfolding in the 600 block of Hollow Tree Lane, near the Houston Northwest Medical Center.

The deputy was pinned in his patrol car and had to be cut out of by the Ponderosa Fire Department.

According to officials, the driver that struck the deputy displayed several signs of intoxication.

The deputy was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
