Police Searching For Suspect Involved in Fatal Hit and Run Crash

Spring, Texas – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect who fled from a fatality hit and run crash Monday morning.

The crash happened shortly after 2:00 AM near York Minster and Cypresswood Drive.

When deputies arrived, they learned that a pedestrian and a motor vehicle were both struck by a dark-colored Toyota Tundra that was traveling southbound on York Minster.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead on the scene.

Video surveillance from a nearby business captured the vehicle fleeing from the crash scene.

Constables are searching for a newer model Toyota Tundra 4-Door Pickup that appears to be either dark gray or pewter in color. Investigators say that there is heavy damage to the front right corner of the truck.

“If you recognize this vehicle or have any information about this case you are urged to contact our dispatch at 281-376-3472.” -Constable Mark Herman

The pedestrian’s identity has not yet been released.
