Spring, Texas – February 9th, 2018: The Melt, a San Fransisco based sandwich restaurant has closed both of their Texas locations including the one in Vintage Park.
The Vintage Park location first opened in March of 2017 but unfortunately did not make their year anniversary. A lockout notice from the leasing company was posted on their door and their Texas locations disappeared off the corporate website overnight.
Spring Happenings visited The Melt several times during their tenure in Spring. The first visit was phenomenal, our review stated “If you haven’t tried The Melt, you must!!! I’m eating a grilled cheese sandwich with avocado, bacon and grilled chicken.” Our second visit was far from positive.
The second review of our visit got the attention of many, including the CEO of The Melt, Ralph Bower. We received a personal phone call from Mr. Bower expressing his apologies and ensuring the issues would be corrected. Mr. Bower released this statement to the followers of Spring Happenings that had bad experiences as well.
Let us know your thoughts on their closing in the comments on our Facebook page.
