Klein ISD Student Arrested After Taking Upskirt Photo of Teacher

Spring, Texas – April 21st, 2018: A Klein Oak High School student has been arrested after allegedly taking an upskirt photo of his teacher.

The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Erick Eduardo Ordonez Medina, was arrested and subsequently charged with Improper Photography with Promotion, a state jail felony.

After taking the photo, Medina offered to share the image with several of his classmates, in which they denied. The incident was witnessed by a female student who immediately informed school officials.

According to court documents, the teacher, whose identity we will withold, stated “On March 22nd during 7th period, Erick Ordonez Medina took a picture under my knee-length black nylon dress using the Snapchat app of my black, lacy underwear.”

Engaging in Improper Photography is a criminal sexual offense that can be classified as a state jail felony. Some typical penalties for this crime include:

  • A term of incarceration in a state jail facility for a period of time that is no less than 180 days and no more than two years
  • Up to $10,000 in fines and fees
  • Probation, mandatory psychological counseling and sex offender registration may also be assigned as punishments depending upon the facts of the case.

Medina was arrested on 04/18/2018 and bonded out the next day. Medina is due back in court mid-May.
