Klein Collins Food Pantry Overwhelmed By Community Support

Spring, TX:  A plea for help went out Wednesday evening as the Klein Collins Food Pantry struggled to collect the needed amount of turkeys before their deadline on Friday.  We published an article asking for the publics help, and you did exactly that!

Director of Moms Helping Moms Texas refers to it as a “Community of Angels”, “Because of our community of angels, KCHS not only fed every needy family, but also was able to donate turkeys to the custodial staff.” said Jennifer Wammack – Director of Moms Helping Moms Texas

Over 35 turkeys, boxes of food and gift cards were donated to this awesome cause.  We were told that the KCHS staff was overwhelmed by the generosity shown during this event.

Jennifer tell us that the food pantry was already able to help more families than ever before, but with your help it far surpassed what they ever dreamed.

On behalf of Spring Happenings, Moms Helping Moms Texas, and Klein Collins High School THANK YOU for the constant love, support and generosity that you give to this wonderful community.

Editor in Chief – “Social media is a very powerful tool that reaches a large amount of people in literally minutes.  Spring Happenings is proud to support this community.  We are Spring and we are strong!”
