Spring, TX – September 29th, 2017: A Klein Cain High School student was arrested Thursday after making a threat to the school on the popular app, Snapchat.
Judy Rimato, a spokesperson for the Klein Independent School District says “yesterday KCHS administration was made aware of a circulated Snapchat image of a young man threatening the school. Administrators quickly identified the young man as a Klein Cain student, notified the Klein Police, and removed him from class. There was no weapon found on campus, and the student is in custody.”
The student has been charged with a Class B Misdemeanor for making a false report that caused alarm or panic.
Rimato went on to say that “Klein ISD does not tolerate any threats of harm against other students or staff and works in coordination with the police and the district attorney’s office regarding such matters.”
