Hot Spot H-Town Opens Up Spring Restaurant Serving Up Seafood & More

Spring, Texas – Owners Chad and Cookie Woods have brought their Cajun soul food dishes to Spring at Hot Spot H-Town. Originally starting out as a food truck, the new restaurant is located at 842 Rayford Rd, Spring, TX, 77386.

The food truck first opened in January 2015. “We would cook for others and they would go crazy so we tried trail rides and festivals and always sold out. So we decided to start with a food truck,” said Cookie.

The food truck’s popularity eventually led to a brick and mortar location off of Rayford Road in Spring.

Hot Spot H-Town serves up all of the food truck favorites such as ribs, turkey chops, fried prawns and fried lobster along with other side dishes to choose from including green beans and mac n cheese. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining options.

“Our most popular dish is the Fried Ribs but our lobster bites and tomahawk pork chops and boudin balls, regular and stuffed, are making their own mark!”

The restaurant’s hours are from 11 am – 10 pm, however, according to Woods they vary, as the restaurant does stay open later for games and boxing matches.
