Spring, Texas – December 19, 2018: All but one lane of the I-45N mainlines are closed due to a motor vehicle accident involving hazardous materials.
Emergency crews were dispatched to I-45N, just north of FM 1960 around noon in reference to a truck that had lost control and crashed into the concrete wall.
The I-45N HOV lane is also closed.
The Harris County Hazardous Materials team is on the scene assisting with the crash.
At this time, it is unknown how long the freeway will be closed.
Traffic is nearly backed up to Beltway 8. Use SH-249 or the Hardy Toll Road as alternate routes.
