Harvey Upgraded To Tropical Storm; Expected To Develop To Category 1 Hurricane By Landfall


Spring, Texas – August 23rd, 2017: As of 11:00 PM this evening, Harvey has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm moving northwest at 2MPH and maximum sustained winds of 40MPH. Harvey is expected to gain speed tomorrow.

The National Hurricane Center is predicting that Harvey will develop into a category 1 hurricane before making landfall along the Texas coast on Friday.
