Spring, Texas – October 3, 2018: A Good Samaritan, who stopped to help a driver stranded in the middle of the road was transported to the hospital in critical condition after being pinned between two vehicles.
The crash unfolded in the 21000 block of Aldine Westfield around 6:25 PM this evening.
Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department tell us that a Good Samaritan stopped to help another driver push his disabled vehicle out of the roadway. While the man was pushing the vehicle out of the road, a third vehicle slammed into the back, crushing the Good Samaritan in between the two vehicles.
Emergency workers at the scene tell Spring Happenings that the man likely will lose both of his legs. He was transported to Ben Taub hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the disabled vehicle was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
At this time, it is unknown if the driver that struck the two vehicles will face charges.
