Gas Leak Prompts Shelter In Place for Portion of Shenandoah Neighborhood



UPDATE: 3:57 PM Shelter in place lifted.
Shenandoah, Texas – May 3, 2019: The Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management is currently working with the Shenandoah Police Department to monitor a gas leak involving a four-inch line in the Silverwood Ranch Estates subdivision.

A shelter in place has been issued for the following streets in the area immediately surrounding the leak.

  • Silverwood Ranch
  • Wellman Road
  • Silver Stone Lane

The MCOHSEM will provide updates when the leak has been repaired and the shelter in place is lifted.
