Four Injured In Head On Collision Near Kuykendahl & Cypress Creek


Spring, Texas – June 14th, 2016: Four people, including a young boy were hospitalized after a head on crash near Kuykendahl and Cypress Creek, Tuesday evening.

Shortly before 7PM, the Ponderosa Fire Department, assisted by Klein Fire Department and Cypress Creek EMS responded to Kuykendahl Road over Cypress Creek, just south of Cypresswood Drive in reference to a major accident.

Crews arrived on the scene and found two vehicles mangled and debris scattered across the roadway. Kuykendahl was shut down in both directions while the extrication and investigation took place.

Preliminary reports state that the red vehicle was traveling northbound when it crossed the center median for unknown reasons and struck a vehicle head on. Officials say that the red vehicle rolled several times before becoming stationary; the driver was transported by life flight to the downtown medical center.

The conditions of the patients are unknown.
