Five Area Restaurants Permanently Closing Their Doors

Spring, Texas June 17, 2019: Five restaurants throughout the Spring area have permanently closed their doors due to various reasons.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop at Vintage Park – Closed on June 3. Management confirmed the closure, however, information regarding the closing has not been made public.

Lindy’s Country Cupboard Cake Shop – Shop owner Lindy confirmed that after 34+ years in business she will be retiring and closing up shop. The bakery’s last day in business was Saturday, June 15.

Cast Iron Southern Grill & Runaway Plate – Owner, Lina Wang confirmed that the restaurants, both located at 28533 Spring Trails Ridge in Spring, will be closed as of June 11. In a Facebook post, Wang expressed gratitude toward her customers and revealed that she will be closing up shop to due to an illness and will be focusing on her health instead.

Red Rooster Grill & Mexican Kitchen – Mexican-inspired eatery Red Rooster Grill have closed their doors. Located at 26850 I-45 N in Oak Ridge the closure was reported via Houston area foodie page.
