Spring, Texas – October 29th, 2017: An overnight rollover crash left a Klein Collins Junior dead and two other teens injured. Shortly after 9:00 PM on Saturday night, the Mercedes-Benz sedan carrying the students was traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on Rothwood Road. The driver lost control, the vehicle struck a raised driveway in the ditch causing it to rollover and subsequently eject one occupant who was not wearing her seatbelt. The Klein Collins Junior that was ejected was pronounced on the scene from the injuries sustained during the accident. The conditions of the other students were not made publicly available.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.

Fight Breaks Out At HEB Grocery Store Between Customer and Store Employee
Spring, Texas – November 21st, 2017: On November 19, 2017, deputies with Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to the HEB located at 2100 FM 2920 Road, in reference to an in-progress fight disturbance inside the store. Upon arrival, Constable Deputies discovered that a female shopper and female store employee was involved in a verbal altercation. During the verbal exchange between the 2 females, two males began to intervene at which time, a physical fight began inside the store.
A total of 8 Constable Patrol cars responded, due to the crowd and quickly got the situation under control. Both Male suspects were issued class C citations and will be summoned before a Judge for their actions.
“With the Holidays here many people have short tempers, however, acting this way and violating state laws will not be tolerated. Everyone needs to be patient and set examples to be followed during these times.”- said Constable Mark Herman.

Cold Front On The Way; 25MPH Wind Gusts and Temps in 40’s – 50’s
Spring, Texas – November 18th, 2017: Gusty northernly winds and temps in the high 40’s and lower 50’s can be expected in the Spring area after a cold from pushes through our area.
You’ll know exactly when the cold front arrives as you will experience winds gusting up to 25MPH and temps will begin to fall from the 80’s down into the 60’s. By late afternoon, the front should have pushed off of the Southeast Texas Coast. Light showers cannot be ruled out as the front passes through however severe weather is not forecast.
Spring should stay on the cool side on Sunday but we warm up again on Monday. It appears that Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday will feature warm weather and partly cloudy skies. We are looking at the possibility of another cold front next weekend but it is too far out to give any specifics.
