The Woodlands, Texas – The Woodland’s first ever luxury dine-in theater is set to open in the Fall of 2019. Texas-based Moviehouse, recently acquired by Cinépolis, have partnered together for the ultimate movie-going experience. The new Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas will feature 11 state-of-the-art screens with 833 fully reclining leather seats.
Other amenities will include an upscale lounge area as well as on-demand service buttons available at every seat. The menu will feature dishes that won’t be found at other dine-in theaters. Cinépolis also offers guests an extensive drink menu featuring local brews, craft beer, handcrafted cocktails, a curated wine list, and even milkshakes.
Starting in December, the theater will also be rolling out a program called “Cinepolis Handpicked.” Every Tuesday, the theater will feature weekly showings with special discount tickets to a selection of films. The films will include select titles of oldies, cult classics, concert events, and even documentaries.
“Guests of The Woodlands will enjoy the renowned Cinépolis moving-going experience combined with many amenities and culinary features of Moviehouse,” a press release stated. “Cinépolis will continue to identify the best attributes of both brands and integrate them into all Cinépolis theaters over time to deliver the best luxury cinema experience for fans of both brands. Cinépolis looks forward to growing its brand within Texas and across the United States.”
The new movie theater will be located at 26543 Kuykendahl Road, between Creekside Forest Drive and West Harmony Place.
Cinépolis will be joining another new luxury theater, Star Cinema Grill, in an explosive uptick in movie theaters in the Houston area.
