Bomb Squad Called To Kroger Grocery Store After Finding Suspicious Device

Spring, Texas – March 22nd, 2016: The Harris County Sheriff’s Office High Risk Operations Units & Bomb Squad was called out to the Kroger grocery store located near Spring Cypress and Champions Forest Drive in reference to a suspicious package.

Police secured the area and evacuated the Kroger grocery store during the investigation.

Sources tell us that the device was detonated, however authorities called it a “hoax device” during an on camera interview and stated there were no threats to the general public.

Authorities remind everyone to be aware of their surroundings and to contact police if you see something out of the ordinary.
