Spring, Texas – September 29, 2018: An arrest warrant has been issued for a former 28-year-old Klein Oak High School wrestling coach after authorities say he had sex with a student multiple times in his classroom.

Spring Happenings broke the initial story of the allegations back in May of 2018. After a 5 month long investigation, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted the charges and issued an arrest warrant for the former coach on Thursday.

According to court documents, Matthew Taylor Moses (04/09/1990) of Spring, has been charged with having an improper relationship with a student. Moses is currently wanted by authorities.

Court records indicate that the student (17) admitted to having oral sex with Moses a total of 5 times. Three of these incidents took place in Moses’ classroom, while the other two incidents took place in a vehicle while Moses was driving the girl home from school.

Moses resigned in lieu of termination after a meeting with the school principal, where he admited to “having a moment of weakness” and allowed the student to perform oral sex on him in the classroom.

Klein ISD issued the following statement:

“Mr. Matthew Taylor Moses is no longer a Klein ISD employee. When Klein ISD became aware of allegations that a Klein Oak High School employee had engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a female student, Klein ISD immediately began investigating and involved the Klein ISD Police Department. Klein ISD will continue cooperating with law enforcement authorities. The safety and security of our students is always our top priority in Klein ISD.”

The Klein ISD Police Department is the investigating agency and is actively searching for Moses.
