Spring, Texas – August 8th, 2016: A robbery suspect is in critical condition after being shot 12 times by an off duty Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy during a robbery at a Spring area Whataburger.

Officials tell us that the robbery took place during the early morning hours, Monday. Two armed men entered the Whataburger located near FM 2920 and Spring Cypress with pistols and demanded money from the cashier. Two off-duty Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies that were eating at the establisment jumped into action, striking one of the suspects “around 12 times”.
